IBPS
has finally declared registration chart for candidates successful in IBPS
PO/MT-2 CWE as well as interview and you can now fill your bank preference in
that chart. The chart contains 21 banks. We got many queries from the
candidates on how to fill registration chart or how to give preference to
banks.
As
we posted earlier there is no worry to fill the bank preference, you can prefer
any bank because your final selection depends on your total marks secured not
on your preference. Every bank has the same salary structure and perks given to
employees are also same. But if you want to take posting in
your hometown you
need to do a little homework. Suppose you are from Punjab and want to get
posting in Punjab then go for Punjab and Sind Bank as your first preference.
Punjab and Sind bank has most of its branches in Punjab. After Punjab, Punjab
and Sind bank has most of its branches in Delhi. So 75% are the cases you will
get posting in Punjab or Delhi. And if unfortunately, you are given posting out
of your state don’t worry, after some time you will be posted in your home
state. You know, it is mandatory for a
bank PO to work in state other than its home state for at least 3 year. So this
is the time go for other state if in case you are not selected in your home
state. So we will advise you to search which bank has maximum number of its CBS
branches in your home state and go for that bank as your first preference.

ReplyDeleteHi Rishabh,
ReplyDeleteYou say a bank PO needs to work away from his home state for 3 years. Does that mean after a tenure of 3 years he will be always in his home state ( of course he may get transferred from time to time within his home state ).
How do the banks allot the posting of the candidates. Do they have a soft corner for allowing a candidate to get posted in his home state or not?
Plz reply, because for some reasons I need a govt job in my home state. And this will decide whether to prepare for it or not
