IBPS IT Officer Interview Experience in Punjab and Sind Bank

The interview experience of one Candidate Is following:

As I know everyone is curious about what is asked in IBPS interview so I want to share my experience in Punjab and Sind bank. First of all I got 138(General) marks in IBPS CWE for Specialist Officer(IT).When I entered in the room there were 5 interviewer. Before interview I was very nervous but when I entered in the room I

was quite relaxed. 

Then interview begins: 

Q 1 Are u Ankit? 

Ans : Yes, sir.

 Q2 From where?

 Ans I am from Haryana. 

Q3 Capital of Haryana? 

Ans Chandigarh.

 Q4 Capital of Punjab? 

Ans Chandigarh.

 Q5 Why Capital of Haryana and Punjab is same? 

Ans: Because they were merged in past. 

Q6 OK, Where were Olympics held in 2012?

 Ans: In London

 Q7 How many medals India won in Olympics?

 Ans: my answer was five.

 Q8 Who won from Haryana?

 Ans Sushil Kumar, Vijay Kumar.

 Q9 What is full form of ANSI?

 Ans: Amercian National Standard Institution

 Q10 Full form of DNS 

Ans: Domain Name System 

Q10 Full form of BISDN?

 Ans: Broadband Integrated services digital network. 

Q11 What is transmission media? 

Ans: I answered in detail but their faces express that they know nothing about that. 

Q12 What is normalization? 

Ans: I define normalization.

 Q13 Why do u wanna go in banking? 

Q14 What about family? 

 My overall experience was good but they have lack of knowledge they don’t know more about technical terms. But my luck was my side and I was selected and now I am an it officer in Punjab and sind bank.
